Applied
systems
for hard
problems.
Hubflow builds the working version. Software, AI, and models that turn hard, messy inputs into decisions you can act on, across defence and public sector, language, and construction.
We are a small studio that ships. The same hands build the model, the software, and the controls, then hand you something explainable, deployable, and yours. A translation engine a Canadian federal agency measured at roughly twice the general-purpose baseline; computer-vision and data tools in daily use; cost models and prefab delivery for real construction.
Four kinds of hard problem.
Different domains, one way of working: build the model and the software together, make every output explainable, and ship something you can run and audit yourself.
Decision intelligence
Multi-modal data fusion, anomaly detection, and domain awareness. Combine imagery, signals, and text into one situational picture, every output explainable and traceable to its source.
See Project Erebus→Domain-tuned NMT
Neural machine translation and NLP adapted to a specialized vocabulary. A Hubflow engine was evaluated by a Canadian federal agency at roughly twice the general-purpose baseline, deterministic and on-prem.
Build-side technology
Quote-grounded cost models, drawing takeoff, prefab delivery, and property intelligence. The analytical layer that de-risks how a building actually gets priced and built.
See the prefab program→Tools that ship
Bespoke web apps, dashboards, automation, and data pipelines. When the problem does not fit off-the-shelf software, we build the version that fits your workflow and runs where you need it.
Working systems, not slideware.
Every system here was built, deployed, and put in front of real users or a real client. The track record is shipped software, not a research deck.
Can a small team build production-grade translation AI?
Federal-evaluated translation engine
A domain-specialized neural machine translation engine, fine-tuned for a specialized federal vocabulary. On the client's own evaluation it scored roughly twice the general-purpose baseline, running on-prem, deterministic, and auditable. Built and demonstrated for a Canadian federal agency.
- →Domain-adapted transformer NMT, both language directions
- →~2× general-purpose baseline on the client's scorecard (BLEU / COMET)
- →Deterministic and on-prem: same input, same output, no cloud dependency
- →Live, interactive demo delivered to the client

Practice over polish.
Deployed, not demoed
The systems here run in the real world and have been evaluated by a real federal client. Working software, not a research notebook or a slide.
Explainable by default
No black boxes. Every output traces back to its evidence, scores are calibrated, and the same input gives the same result every time. Auditable enough for high-stakes decisions.
Operator-built
Built by someone who runs real operations, so the system fits an actual workflow and runs on your own infrastructure, not a vendor's cloud you cannot inspect.

“Systems that ship, that you can audit, and that run on your own infrastructure.”
What Hubflow is for
Have a problem
worth a system?
If you have data, documents, or a decision a system could carry, and you need it explainable and deployable, book a call.
